5- The most important question here. How has COVID-19 affected your business?
As an emerging favorite among holidaymakers, Kandima Maldives has enjoyed healthy occupancy rates since its reopening. When we closed our doors in April 2020, the occupancy was 90%.
and we reopened about 85% occupancy in September 2020. We closed the booking in December as we were at full capacity until January 2021.
Kandima has a strong fan base in the Middle East and although the resort is open to a limited number of markets, our occupancy rates have been high.
As a definitive option for families and travelers from the Middle East, we expect to receive more guests as Saudi Arabia and other countries in the region head towards travel restrictions.

6- What safety steps are you taking to prevent the spread of the epidemic in Kandim?
